![]() 11/03/2020 at 17:24 |

Definitely the cleanest one I’ve seen in person, by a country mile.

I’m familiar with the joy / angst. I’m still happy with my new Suburban, especially the red color, but I did a horrible job looking over the paint beforehand. It was clearly parked outside for a long time, and the clearcoat on the hood and roof are not great for a 5 year old vehicle.
Not a deal breaker, but I would have negotiated even more aggressively than I did had I done a better job. (I ended up paying out the door what the dealer had it advertised for, which was in the solid middle of the market for the age / mileage.)

Wow, huge upgrade for winter driving!
Glad the adventure seems to have ended well (don’t want to jinx it).

Well I get a truck on Thursday, I have to start going in for training. I did training from home today, all the boring videos or filling out forms and docusigning them.... AND the election is happening, I think I need some Tums.

For not much more he could have got a color.

The inn is full, so this should be it for a while.
On the other hand, I’ll probably share more gems as I find them because clicks = income, right? I keep hearing the check is in the mail.

I’ll take some during daylight. It’s pretty boringly clean, although the driver’s door armrest has a big hole in it.
![]() 11/03/2020 at 20:04 |
|
Oh, well. Better than a torn driver’s seat.
The color combo is growing on me. Of course that green/teal is superior, but you’ll find this easier to keep clean(looking) and you’ll be invisible on the road which I value highly. Let the big yellow LJ be the eye candy.

Yeah, I’m growing to not hate the white, but sigh.

I do not envy you the work of keeping all that plastic in good condition. The ‘94 I had for a year was so much work to keep it form looking dried out. But I do still love having owned the vehicle.

White as part of a two-tone scheme is a lo t more acceptable than plain rental-grade white.

Agreed. I saw an all-white WK while I was driving my WJ and was grateful Jeep hadn’t gone that way from the beginning of the Grand Cherokee.
